We launched the voting session for the nominees, however some members of the Omani blog community expressed that not enough blogs were included in the voting list. Therefore, hereby is an extended time period to nominate any other blogs for the contest. Also pls feel free to suggest any other alterations you find suitable for this contest. Pls bear in mind that some blog owners might not like to be included in this contest. For example, I myself did not nominate my blog coz I am not very active lately in blogging. All suggustions, n recommendations are very much welcomed. We do appreciate your positive contribution to make this contest a success. Thank you

warda, there was a problem with the voting because people were voting for no. 1 and not for no. 2 and 3, so the voting had to be restarted no matter what. Might as well allow additional nominations while we're at it so that it becomes a more comprehensive list. It's the judges job to decide whether they qualify or not. The ones I added all qualify.
could the judges list the blogs that have already been nominated, just so everyone is clear on who has been nominated and who hasnt.

Muscati, your nominations will be added to the list because as you have mention: they all qualify, however, I would like to make it clear that you could have made those nominations in the first stage just the same way other people nominated other blogs. Guys, if you think that there is any blog that you think should be added to the list, please just post it's link here, we have already asked you to do this in the first stage, but here is another chance for you to do it again.
How does the polling work? I mean since there wasn't a registeration process for voting how does the system stop you from voting more than once. Is it by IP? In that case how does that account for multiple users who share an IP. Like for example in my house there's four of us sharing one ADSL connection.
Dear Muscati, the polls were controlled by IP and cookies. I am not really sure of the technicality behind it, but it could've probably limited the voting for your house to a single vote only.

There are no categories. Just see the list above and if there are any other Omani blogs or Oman-based blogs which you like and you think they should be in the competition submit them by replying here. If you want to know the eligibility rules read the earlier posts on this blog.

Dear Kamakazy, all the blogs you mentioned (other than 3rd culture) do not qualify because they were not started early enough. (Read the rules in earlier posts for more info).
I think that we should include 3rd culture though it has not been updated recently.
The committee will also consider http://chefraw.blogspot.com/ since it was started back in 2003. It falls short with only 16 posts.
when is the nominations going to start?
the last poll, all the names and blogs were kind of over each other, if u could have some space between each blog it would be easier on the eyes and faster to vote now that the number of blogs nominated has increased.
