Timing of the Awards
We would like to thank everyone on their suggestions, we now have a better idea of how we should run this. I am going to type down the main points of what we have thought of until now in separate posts.
Everyone agreed on that we should run awards at a later time period, the majority suggested that we do the submission/nomination stage in November, and have the voting in December. It makes even more sense to have the awards of the year 2005 and the end of it.
I think that this issue is done.

how many blogs can a person nominate? one for every category?
i think it should be two for every category.
I think that one can nominate as many as he/she wishes, and as long as they qualify, they would be put in the poll. One can vote for one in each category.
Who is qualified to vote !?
I think that everyone should be able to vote, Omanis and non-Omanis. The poll will not be limited to blogger account holders either. (I'm not sure if it can be to start with)
nah make it just Omani votes, we can all vote for our friends and it will be really fair then - RIGHT!
its not fair to not include non-omanis. All should be allowed a vote.
